Xia Jinwen


    Personal profile: Xia Jinwen, male, Yixing, Jiangsu, member of the Communist Party of China, doctor of law, professor, doctoral tutor. He has served as Assistant Dean of the School of Economics and Law of Nanjing Normal University, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Law of Nanjing Normal University, Associate Dean of the Law School of Nanjing Normal University, Director of the Academic Affairs Department of Nanjing Normal University, Standing Committee Member of the Nanjing Normal University Party Committee, Vice President, and Party Committee of Yangzhou University. Secretary, secretary of the municipal party committee of Zhenjiang City, is currently the party secretary and dean of the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Social Sciences. In June 1994, he was promoted to associate professor; in June 1995, he was a master tutor in theory of law; in June 1998, he was promoted to professor; in January 2001, he was a doctoral tutor in law theory, guiding the theory of legal modernization and modern justice.

    Education background: From September 1982 to July 1986, he studied in the Law Department of Nanjing University and obtained a bachelor's degree in law. From September 1996, he was a member of the Law School of the People's University of China. His teacher, Professor Zeng Xianyi, is a member of the Judicial Discipline Review Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the Director of the Education Discipline Education Committee of the Ministry of Education. In July 1999, he graduated with a doctorate in law. In November 2000, he went to the Golden Gate University School of Law.

    Research direction: teaching and research of legal modernization, comparative legal culture and modern Procedure judicial theory.
